Neyland Judo Club was established in 1967, and has been at the forefront of the sport in both the South West Wales region and on a National platform. Many of its members have gained Welsh titles at junior and senior levels. Since 1971 the Neyland Judo Club has had representation in the Welsh squad each year at under-18 level. The first member to gain a national title was Tyrone Parsely. At one time the Wales squad included 8 members from the Neyland club.
